EUREGHA – European Regional and Local Health Authorities

EUREGHA, the European Regional and Local Health Authorities network, brings together regional and local health authorities from across Europe to strengthen health cooperation, exchange knowledge and promote the role of regions in European health policy.

Through its network, working groups and EU project activities, EUREGHA supports collaboration on key priorities such as cancer prevention and care, digital transformation, cross-border healthcare, mental health, health workforce, and prevention-oriented health systems. EUREGHA works to ensure that regional and local perspectives are reflected in EU health initiatives and that policy outcomes can be translated into practice across regions.

As a project partner in DynamiCity, EUREGHA will be supporting regional stakeholder engagement and contributing to the connection between the project’s health, mobility and policy dimensions. Through its European network, EUREGHA will help involve regional and local health authorities, facilitate knowledge exchange, and support dissemination and policy uptake activities.

EUREGHA’s role is particularly focused on ensuring that active mobility is recognised as a relevant component of cancer prevention, survivorship, healthier urban environments and people-centred health systems. By bridging project evidence with regional practice and EU-level health priorities, EUREGHA will contribute to strengthening the transferability and long-term impact of DynamiCity results.
