Mobycon is an independent consultancy specialised in sustainable mobility, based in the Netherlands with additional offices in Germany and North America. Its multidisciplinary team of traffic engineers, planners, engagement and communications experts, and strategic advisors applies Dutch cycling and walking expertise to help cities reduce car dependence and become safer, healthier and more liveable. Mobycon also managed the Interreg North Sea Region projects BITS and MegaBITS on behalf of lead partner the Province of Overijssel, applying Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to cycling to improve safety, comfort and convenience and to make better use of cycling data.
Organisation role in the consortium
Mobycon helps connect DynamiCity to the wider Smart Cycling community and shares relevant knowledge and examples from earlier projects such as BITS and MegaBITS with the participating cities.
