FUNDACIÓ TIC SALUT SOCIAL (TIC) is a public agency within the Catalan Ministries of Health and Social Rights, established in 2006 with the primary objective of facilitating and promoting the digital transformation of health and social care frameworks through innovative utilization of ICT. The agency serves as a dedicated observer of trends, innovations, and emerging initiatives in the health and social care areas.
FTSS is responsible for promoting or coordinating multiple projects within the health and social care system, mainly focused on the following areas of work: social care (including integrated care), artificial intelligence, mHealth, personalized care, digital skills, medical imaging, and interoperability.
Organisation role in the consortium
In the DynamiCity project, TIC contributes as an associated partner bringing its expertise in understanding the complexities of public healthcare systems to support the integration of new technologies and processes into established healthcare frameworks. FTSS’s strategic position within the Catalan healthcare system also enables it to foster networking and collaboration with other health and social care centres.
