TØI – Transportøkonomisk institutt is the Norwegian national institution for transport research and development. It carries out applied research on issues connected with transport and promotes the application of research results by advising the authorities, the transport industry and the public at large.
Organisation role in the consortium
TØI contributes expertise in environmental psychology, transport behaviour and active mobility to the development and evaluation of DynamiCity interventions. TØI helps develop the project’s socio-ecological vision and the behavioural intervention toolbox, and contributes to the design of evidence-based approaches that encourage active mobility. TØI also contributes to the assessment of the environmental, health and wider societal impacts of increased active mobility across the project.
