INLECOM Innovation is a non-profit entity, based in Athens, which undertakes end-to-end life cycle of Research & Innovation projects (from concept to implementation to IPR protection) in the areas of information technology as it applies to transport, logistics, security, agriculture, telecommunications & smart cities. The core competencies include designing and building innovative technical prototypes across multiple domains and exploring their adoption potential; INLECOM also organises Living Labs and industrial pilots that facilitate experimentation with new ideas in real life settings.
Organisation role in the consortium
INLECOM contributes to DynamiCity by supporting the design and implementation of digitally enabled behavioural interventions in the project’s living labs. Its main focus is the “WalkWise Aigaleo” demonstrator, where it develops a gamified walking programme for seniors and at-risk individuals, incorporating group activities, challenges, incentives, and QR-code checkpoints in Baroutadiko Park. INLECOM also leads the assessment of the exploitation and valorisation potential of the project’s innovations (Task 6.2), drawing on demonstrator outcomes and stakeholder acceptance to support their wider uptake and long-term impact.
