The DynamiCity team took part in CIVITAS Forum 2026, held in Thessaloniki last week. The event was a great opportunity to present the project to the wider active mobility and urban policy community, and to take an active part in the CIVITAS meetings and sessions.
Throughout the forum, the team connected with other projects within the CIVITAS initiative and explored synergies that could strengthen the work ahead. For DynamiCity, which aims to empower walking, cycling and micro-mobility for cancer prevention and cleaner, healthier and better-connected cities across 15 European cities, exchanging experiences with fellow projects is a key part of the journey.
Beyond the sessions, DynamiCity also swapped the meeting room for the seafront. On Wednesday 16 September, as part of European Mobility Week, the team organised a netwalk along Thessaloniki’s promenade, a different and more active way to network and exchange ideas with peers from across the consortium and beyond.
