Comune di Brescia

The Municipality of Brescia is a public local authority in Northern Italy, serving over 200,000 inhabitants and acting as the administrative, economic, and cultural centre of its territory. The Municipality is committed to promoting sustainable urban development, social inclusion, digital innovation, environmental protection, and citizen participation. With extensive experience in European cooperation, it actively participates in EU-funded projects, collaborating with international partners to develop innovative solutions, exchange best practices, and strengthen local policies in line with European priorities.

The Municipality of Brescia is participating as an Associate Partner in the European DynamiCity project, a three-year initiative that will begin on June 1°, 2026. Under the coordination of the Eurecat research centre and with a total budget of 5 million euros allocated to the consortium (composed of 36 entities in total), Brescia positions itself as a strategic observer, benefiting from the knowledge and expert support of the DynamiCity network.

As an associate partner, the Administration does not manage direct budget shares or executive responsibilities, but accesses an important pool of expertise and innovations. Specifically, participation will allow exploring micromobility and active mobility solutions dedicated to vulnerable individuals, such as cancer patients, chronic patients, or people with disabilities.
