FIT Innovation (FITin) is an Italian non-profit cooperative based in Rome, established in 2024 by a team of experts with strong operational and technical-scientific backgrounds. The organisation specialises in sustainable urban mobility, transport planning and EU-funded research & innovation projects, with recognised expertise in impact assessment, KPI frameworks, scenario and contingency planning, and business model development.
FIT Innovation supports public authorities and transport operators in translating research outputs into actionable policies and operational tools.
Organisation role in the consortium
FIT Innovation leads WP5 – Consolidating bridges across sectors: fostering collaboration in health & transport policy, and is responsible for Task 5.2 (Synergies to enhance local health strategies, Climate City Contracts and SUMPs) and Task 5.4 (The DynamiCity Roadmap: a vision to climate neutrality and cancer prevention in 2030).
FIT Innovation also leads Task 6.4 on replication and scalability, exploring the potential for wider uptake of DynamiCity’s results and the need to adapt policies and additional interventions.
Drawing on its expertise in sustainable urban mobility planning, FIT Innovation will use the evidence and tools developed by the project to guide cities in scaling up successful interventions, enhancing their Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) and Climate City Contracts (CCCs).
