As part of her cycling journey “THE WAY. Health Unites Us.” across Europe, Petra Thaller, founder of Outdoor Against Cancer, made a stop in Sarajevo, one of DynamiCity’s living lab cities. What began as a short visit turned into a conversation about healthier cities, active mobility, cancer prevention, and the healing power of nature with Derviš Hadžimuhamedović, Project Manager at the City of Sarajevo.
Outdoor Against Cancer and the City of Sarajevo are both partners in DynamiCity, and this encounter reflects exactly what the project stands for: bringing the health and mobility sectors together around a shared goal. During the visit, Petra and Derviš walked through a site being transformed into a healing forest, a future community space for walking, recreation and recovery, and one of Sarajevo’s contributions to the project.
